    Fabric Softeners

    Every fiber of me;
    woven in cottony dreams,
    is stitched along seams
    bearing a logo by Cupid,
    manufactured by a more divine loyalty

    ~I am fabric,
    in a string of life~

    A thread of love,
    meant to cling
    through the electrical static,
    of my heart's capturing
    I to my true love,
    my true love to me
    with other non-conditioned fabrics,
    in a cycle called family

    Excessive amounts of softener,
    somehow was applied
    no matter how hard I tried;
    the bond with my true love,
    was forced to be denied
    whereas, the vulnerability of emotions,
    weakened my pride
    erasing affectionate scents,
    dragging my family through for the ride

    Fabric softeners help in the reduction,
    of water absorption
    so just wring me out and forgive me;
    put the bad water back,
    under a bridged construction
    .
