    Poem Commentary

I have a big problem that time so that night I go to church for asking some help. I stay afterwards in the plaza outside the church and glance above. There I see a very faint star that inspire me to write this one. The star might be an omen from God because tomorrow after that night my problem was solved...^_^ v

    Faint

    Amidst the smog
    That wraps your city
    Clogging the view
    above the horizon
    Of skies beauty
There is still one star left
    that you see
    And in your heart's ear
    it whisper:
    Amidst the intense smoke
    that hids the multitude
    Of other
    hope and light giving company
    I'm still here
    to light and guide you
    On your way
Yet I may be so faint
But the vision of your soul sees
    that this faint light
    is enough
    To lit extinguished hope
    to blaze again
    in your cold heart!

Very nice write that left me surprised at the end. I thought I had a love poem but it turned bittersweet. i could not quite connect the title to the poem yet I was intriqued all the same. very good effort.

I enjoyed this write, and was reading your comments regarding editing your work. A person can over edit, but this is not as bad as a person who does not edit or proof read their work. Well written piece 10 from me.

An interesting, philosophical work derived from a tiny light of a single star. Great inspirational write!
