FAMILY TREE

Hey to my Brothers and Hey to my Sisters

I Want To Shout to you STOP

For who gave you the right to take my name from me! When you wasn't the one who created me.

You wasn't my Father who laid the seed that concieved me, nor my Mother who carried me.

But yet you call me everything except the name that was given me.

Why??? For when you see me, you also see your Mother, Sister, Daughter, and Auntie.

You act as though your mad at me, because I'm not apart of your family tree.

The disrespect that you do to me, it transcend to the core inside, but you can't see. For when He, created you, He created me.

Bone of your bone and flesh of your flesh a side rib was took from you for me.

So why is it disgrace you see, For if it was no you, it would be no me!

But I'm not mad, I'm sad because the instructions was given to you not me. To love and adore, to mold not control, to lead and teach and make something beautiful to keep.

My God, He said be fruitful and multiply not Mortify.

See the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, for what is done to me is also done to your Mother, Sister, Daughter, and Auntie.

And you have the nerve to be mad and mis-treat me. Because I'm not apart of your family tree.

For when Jesus, died and bleed he shed his blood for you and for me. making us all apart of his

What a great poem, what a great scolding. You made a perfectly well grounded argument, logical in it's approach and beautiful in its basis.

The way you reach out your plea in this poem is so poignant. I feel your argument is well founded and deserves a reply. Ginga

How true. In the end we are all brothers and sisters bought and purchased by the blood of the lamb. A beautiful poem full of truth. You are indeed a talented poet.

Thanks again for your comment and for taking the time to read my work.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
