    FANTASY

    I play the game well
    I tease, torture, tantalize
    I am the master
    The Master of Disguise.
    You think I'm in control:
I know all the moves, just what to do.
I'm dying to give up power.
I want to surrender myself to you.
    Tear down these walls
I've worked so hard to build.
    Hold me fiercely
'Til all my doubts have stilled.
    Take me gently,
    Break my chains,
    Remove my fears,
    Let trust remain

A great write. Your style is remarkable, and the rhyme scheme is well thought out. Thank you for sharing. And great descriptions.

You know some times we hold ourselves in chains...... but this write is the "KEY" you are free to trust distrust and question every thing.......... but knowing and making great choices is one of the best things....... so by chance by choice of these words and dreams the stars are shinning brighter on this one........ 10 for this........ fantasy. red

this is such a deep poem. i cannot even begin to fathon all the emotions which is held tight inside here. i am looking through your eyes, feeling what you have felt. wanting to take control but wanting the regret. and seeing what i have seen, you want someone else to be in charge. so much confusion in my mind. this one seems so simple yet your own thoughts are so complex. This is truly masterful. i would like to know more on this....

Sounds like a fun and freaky date, to me. Still liked it though. Write on..

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
