    Poem Commentary

    i dont exactly have a comment for this one.......

    Fell for His Words...

     I used to sit here,
                   read his poems
    about a girl
                   he loved...

    It used to be me.

    They were sweet,
                    some were hot,
    words that hinted
                    about who she was...

    I loved each and every one...

    We would talk,
                     we would write,
    comment on our poems,
                     even though...

    We knew they were about one another...

    But now,
                      I sit here and read
    about a girl
                      who is not me...

    But he loves her enough...

    I can tell
                      by how he writes
    about her smiles
                       and her hugs...

    And how much they affect him...

    Somehow, I'm happy
                       for both of them
    because they
                        are good for each other...

    But I'm hurt inside too...

    And thats okay,
                         I'll get over it,
    hopefully,
                         and if not...

    Tough; 
              I
                shouldnt 
                            have 
                                   fallen 
                                           for 
                words...

    Beautiful,and so true ,some times words that fall from the lips are easy to sway us .We want to believe what we hear.

    Sad, but I am glad that you or the person of this poem feels happy for said oblivious couple. Most people would have just been upset. Anyway, anyone who speaks English can lie, so words are not a thing to be trusted. Sorry for ranting. Loved it! ShadowStealer
