    FIBROMYALGIA

    April 9, 2009

    Today, my get up and go has went.
    I feel that my strength is truly spent;
    Pain that hangs on from morn 'til night;
    Keeping me in a constant fight.

    Friends and loved ones can't always see;
    What this condition does to me.
    Words can't explain this awful pain,
    This weakness, this fog, in my brain.

    Fibromyalgia is the cause
    That grabs me with it's evil claws;
    Twists my joints and strains my muscles;
    Fogs my brain with inner tussles.

    Too weak to fight....Whom can I go;
    To give me strength and take my woe;
    to give me peace, and calm my fears;
    Ease my pain and dry my tears?

    Who is this one, who'll care for me;
    Console my heart, and set me free;
    Take my darkness and never shun?
    He's Jesus Christ, God's only son.

    nice-be healed! I re-wrote a couple words of my poem if you would re rate it again I am thankful! You are healed-arise! & believe anew this day!

    Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
