Striking with authority,
Seen through the clouds,
Disturbing the darkness,
A companion to thunder,
Feared by man.
You are silent but lethal.
Bright flashes,
Blinding temporarily,
Can be missed in the blink of an eye.
Almighty and unpredicatable,
Lightning strikes.
