    Flesh

    This Streched and Bruised Flesh

That protects and Exposed My compressed

    Healing Scars which remain fresH

Unaware of the Pain that makes those aware Depressed

Depressed to know we know nothing

Conformed to THink our color is ugly

SO we alter till' there is little of our ancestors if anything

As Farmers,Thugs and Minority's we are perplexed Rugidly

For we have learned Aztec's,Mayan's and Inca's we once were

Vaguely Told what we they did

So I adopted The culture, I was fed

In Textbooks I read of what the Spanish did

Raped Women, killed off Indians with Guns and Cannons

I Only Know so Much, of how our dead cultures been reminnised

But This Flesh KNows, Shows and Remembers all of it.

'This flesh knows'... now thats DEEP!

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

    Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
