Poem Commentary

Yup, I'm a bisexual. Please if all you have to say how discusting i am for being bisexual, DONT COMMENT!!! I want coments about the quality of my writing and sugestions on how to make it better. Don't hate what you dont understand because its not always a bad thing.

Forbiden Atraction

I walk by you
You walk by me
And your smile lights up my day
I've known you forever
And you the same
Nothing has changed
From the day we met
You wear that same lipstick
Always purple or black
You wear that same sweatshirt
and that same pair of jeans
Your eyes are still blue
Your hair is still blonde
with those streaks of blue
You still wear that purfume
that you bought for your self when he forgot your birth day

But I know what they will think
And I know your not scared
Because youve told me so
so many times
Understand though
I am not like you
I care what they think
I'm scared of what they will do

Know when I dream
I dream of you
And I wish
With all that I am
That you and I lived in a wold
Where we could be togeather
In the open
And with pride

But they world dose not exist
This is real life
And untill they learn to accept us
Love is unrealistic

You do write well to be so young and this piece is very good, full of passion, of yearning, of aching for what you feel you cannot have. Great job, my friend.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
