    Poem Commentary

This poem was written to express how I feel about close relationships. We all have them. Whether it be with your parents, siblings, spouse, children, friends etc. Friendships should be cherised and not taken for granted. None of us are promised tomorrow. Forgive and Forget dont reminisce. Let Go, and Let GOD do all things possible.

    Forever Friends

    Forever friend:
That's how it's supposed to be.
Forget that betrayal when someone's back was stabbed.
Leave behind that place called "lonely".

Why have we accepted being taken for granted?
Causing each other pain when we never even meant it.

Heal that silent past regarding those things we never talked about.
Let's turn this friendship around. Get closure.
That place called "lonely", we can surely do without!

i like this message, live and let live, be humble and kind to each other, not judging, kindred spirits.

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
