new to the site...

And figured I'd just give a friendly hello to everyone out there.

I was a little weary about joining at first because of past scams i had run into concerning poetry, but now i don't think I'll have any problem. This is a great site from what i can tell (though i haven't had any comments yet on my work) so here's hopping I'll be able to witness more of that in the near future.
