Each pause has a breath. Every word comes to life. You be come the actor of your own character. So empowering. Poetry Speaking Class. Oh please, please do it!!! You might have to have more feathers, though. lol Last edited by mspoetris 04-25-2009 at 04:04:40 AM |

Re: Re: UPLOAD A RECORDING OF THE POETS POEMQuote: GREAT IDEA! EVERYONE OUGHT TO AGREE! WHAT DO YOU THINK? HANDs UP, EVERYBODY! LET'S HAVE IT! THIS WOULD BE A MAJOR BREAK-THROUGH! Last edited by cousinsoren 05-27-2009 at 11:36:16 PM |

Oh please, please do it!!! You might have to have more feathers, though. lol And I have poems w/lyrics too. Could we sing em? Huh, can we, can we? Then I wouldn't have to drive to Chicago to do my gig. Wouldn't get paid- but I don't care! Do have an agent who you arrange to do gigs with - are you looking for new material to add to your gig - if so give me a yell - I'm using every mouth piece I can muster to get my material out / displayed - to promote my book - "The Psalters Of The Field" by David L Scott go to www.lulu.com/thebookcastle1 - you can find contact information on my page here and there... Much Love, KD |

Re: UPLOAD A RECORDING OF THE POETS POEMHeck Yes! and for those of us that set their poems to music... It could add a whole 'nother dynamic to the site. |
|
Re: UPLOAD A RECORDING OF THE POETS POEMThe site poetry.com has this feature, but the way they do theirs, you have to call a number and record it over the phone, put in a code, and within a few moments your recording is saved on the site. That's another option, but being able to do it directly from your PC microphone is great too. |

Now This Is Modern Poetry, lolMichael Anthony Says, shhhhhh, This is Dahs, new poem listen, lol Word! |

Re: UPLOAD A RECORDING OF THE POETS POEMServer volume is a great consideration, and with that is cost. If OP had registered affiliations, then those sponsers could help meet the need w/advertising revenues, while increasing the exposure to the site and said poets. The ads would not be for this site, but on the affiliate sites. (If this is a bogus idea, I'm just new here, and don't know any better) |

Re: UPLOAD A RECORDING OF THE POETS POEManother crazy old/new thread ... |

Just an idea YOU and I shall work with Pappa to realize this, if he can be induced to go along with it, or we create a website. |

Re: UPLOAD A RECORDING OF THE POETS POEMThere's houndbite.com. It's much like YouTube but with audio. Lets you record, upload and embed recordings into other sites. Last edited by Sleeves 10-29-2009 at 01:32:43 PM |

Lets you record, upload and embed recordings into other sites. Doesn't require any extra infrastructire from OP, just some room on the poem page for the embedded player. That's cool, maybe Pac, and the team can work something out with that site. I looked at it searched Poetry, they have a lot, so maybe a good thing.. WS |
In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.
