1,000 billions

1,000 billions

Man, when 1,000 billion light bulbs

flicked on above my head in the big night

sky

Boy, did I feel small

Man, when 1,000 billion hands clapped at once above my head in the big night sky

Boy, did I feel small

Man, when 1,000 billion fans began blowing

at once in the big night sky

Boy, did I feel small

Man, when 1,000 billion cool showers sprayed

everywhere in the big night sky

Boy did I feel small

Man, when 1,000 billion big things are on my mind tomorrow

Boy, will I make them feel small

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
