Re: Who can guess what I was thinking when I wrote this piece?I think that you were trying to be intentionally lazy in not using the proper English language. My opinion, and after all, it is only one opinion, the English language suffers enough abuse now without any other further help. Don't mean to be harsh, but use real words to write. After all, are you writing poetry, or texting it? |

After all, are you writing poetry, or texting it? I agree 100% This was intentionally done and I agree also with the statement, "After all, are you writing, or texting." I do disagree about the abuse of the English language statement, I don't think that I abused it, after all the English language is actually an abuse and disrespect of various other languages, but also like you said that is just my opinion. Great job on your critique, you my friend have just made an impact on my poetry. Thank you!!! May I ask if you are a poet??? |

Re: Who can guess what I was thinking when I wrote this piece?Well Hakin, it is quite obvious what you were thinking with this piece. You were reborn. You didn't believe in God, and now you do. Way to go with that and with this creative work of art. |

Re: Who can guess what I was thinking when I wrote this piece?[iI read your poem and I think it's AWESOME!! I believe you are referring to our higher power, whom we all refer to as the Almighty God! Or Budda or whatever you'd like to call him. |

Re: Who can guess what I was thinking when I wrote this piece?Thank you so so much Dustydai for being interested in my poetry and also for all the great compliments that you gave me. I am a pretty wonderful and a awesome person if I must say so myself......lol.......But 4real I am very humble and I've learned not to take anything or anyone for granted. Please read my poem "To be Seen, But not Touched" This piece changed the way that I see and appreciate God's creation. We are all part of a greater design and we must learn to respect beauty in it's natural element. We as humans sometime forget that we are not the Creators (of not even our own lives) and therefore we don't have the right to do what we please with it. Possession is only for the Creator, not the Created..............Thanks again my friend and please don't be a stranger!!! |

Well my friend great guess and I appreciate you stopping by and taking part in my poetry challenge, but unfortunately you are thinking what it meant to you while you were reading it, not what it could have possibly meant to me while I was writing it.......lol.....I have always believed in God and I have a very real relationship with Him. So know it's not about being reborn, but great guess. Please try again!!! |

Re: Who can guess what I was thinking when I wrote this piece?Okay Hakin, the other thing could be your always wanting to be able to express yourself through writing. The Son and the Spirit don't fit in there, somehow or other, though. |

Re: Who can guess what I was thinking when I wrote this piece? So, what do you say, Hakin....what were you thinking when you wrote what you wrote ? |

Re: Who can guess what I was thinking when I wrote this piece?I too loved Him before I even gave myself to Him. He is the one and only, the Great I AM. The One True King of Kings. He is God. |

Re: Who can guess what I was thinking when I wrote this piece?I, too, thought that the poem was a reflection of a love for God. Thinking that it must be about our creator. The third verse, I think, about the holy spirit, made me think it has to be a poem of a spiritual nature. Has anyone's guesses been right? At least partially right in some way? No one can know exactly what you were thinking cause any time we read anyone's writings we interpret it through our own lense of experiences. I liked it though. I was a bit disheartened that the first comment was rather negative and critical, but it was nice to see your positive response to it! So what exactly was intentional. You said he was right about some of it being lazy...just typos or something? I make too many myself to ever let that really interfer with my reading of poetry. I'm glad for the few who have offered the correct spelling here and there though, it does help I guess (to those people where suck details matter! LOL!) |

Re: Who can guess what I was thinking when I wrote this piece?....you wrote like you were thinking about angels |

Heaven's hi ListninEar, I say (Heaven's high instead of Hell low) so that I may provoke a blessed and peaceful vision when I greet your spirit...and not unconsciously provoke a cursed and chaotic vision when I do so...I shared that with you to give you a little insight to how I want to think, because you are right in a way...The poem is definitely about my perfect love for our creator, if you perceive it from a collective, all inclusive perspective... But I am Human and I wrote it from a selfish and personal perspective...I try to believe and function on that perfect plane of thoughts, but I wasn't conceived like our Savior Jesus Christ...So I am still guilty of that sin to a certain extent...But I pray and try to obey...So with that being said no know one has guessed right yet, but a lot of people are guessing...I will give you a clue since this is a poetry challenge...go to myspace.com/hottestnewpoet...on the right side of the screen is my blogs...this poem is in there and at the bottom of it some of my friends made some good guesses...but none are correct, but you can use it as a process of elimination...good luck!!! and oh yea there will be a reward if you guess right... ...oh last thing Mr. Crosby read the poem before I changed a lot of the words that I shortened intentionally...like instead of you, I just put U...and instead of the word to, I put 2... but thank you so much for even being interested in my thoughts at all... |

Re: Who can guess what I was thinking when I wrote this piece?my guess is it's not GOD,or JESUS,but your holy spirit that lives within side, from everlasting of time, who was there before we were born,to walk with us,talk,to lead and guide |

Until later down the line..Then you realized you loved him all along? I know im more than likely wrong, just though id give it a try. lol. -Crys., Sorry, that was a great guess, but you are still guessing from your own perspective...Until you stop reading "MY" poem and thinking about what it means to you instead of what it means to someone like me, then you are only going to be a surface dweller...read my other pieces if you truly seek to know the answer they will help you to overstand me...^_^...thanks for being interested sweetie... |

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
