HAND IN HAND

I never thought that I would see
A world of hope and one so free
Now this is our a chance for us all to show
A world of peace for our children to grow

Never before has black become white
But oh my god what a wonderful sight
To stand side by side and walk hand in hand
And all work together in this beautiful land

I know at this moment it’s only a dream
But lets all work together to make it come real
No matter what colour our skins may be
Lets all join hands for this world to be free

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
