Editing problemI posted a poem and wanted to edit it. I clicked on MY POEMS and then edit. The poem was not entered into a contest. It flashed the editable contents for one second only and then simply showed the poem. I could not edit it. |

Which browser is it you are using? Do you have JavaScript enabled? -Papa Paczki |

RE: Editing problemYes, I have Java enabled and I use the latest Firefox browser. I'm at a loss but I'll just type in the commands as I enter the poem to make sure I don't need to edit it. |

RE: Editing problemWell, I am at a loss. I entered another poem. I hit the B for bold but it didn't take. I also wanted to change the font size because it was so small, I couldn't do that, either. I ernt in to edit it and wasn't able to. |
|
RE: Editing problemIt's interesting that the first two poems I entered....Small Pain and the Dummy....were fine. The last two had a smaller font size and no bold. I think I entered the four all the same way. It's frustrating.. |
|
RE: Editing problemWait! I may see the difference! I think that, in the first two, I entered them in the "Read My poetry" forum. The last two I entered in from my page under Add a Poem. Im really trying to feel my way around here without knowing much about how the site works. Do I enter them in the Read My Poem forum or from my home page...or both? |

Then after that, you'll have a public link listed on the poem, post that onto the forums so people will come to your profile and leave comments. -Papa Paczki |

RE: Editing problemOk, I'll do that but that is where I'm having the trouble editing it. I'll try IE and see if that works better. Thanks.. |
|
RE: Editing problemOk, I have resolved the font size issue. Now my only problems seem to be the following... |
|
RE: Editing problemI myself have tried that. The only way I could edit the poem was to take it out of the contest losing ratings to do it.Then I reintered it after I corrected it.Worked for me. Back to the drawing board so to speak. |

RE: RE: RE: Editing problemQuote: Try both

RE: Editing problemWhat about the centering and the colors? |
|
RE: Editing problemI also wish that when we are through editing our poems, there would be a way to let all of your poet friends know you wrote a new poem at the same time instead of sending one notice at a time. Although I have to admit, I have met a lot of really nice people. Thank you my friends for all of your help ,comments and input. |

RE: RE: Editing problemQuote: Some people are so good at making their colors and pictures look good. I haven't learned all of that yet either . I am trying.

RE: Editing problemThanks, Betty. I was directing that question to the administration..... |
In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.
