LUCIFER: A bum rap for the "Light" Chap

Lucifer is literally the "Bearer of Light". Aren't we better off with shining the light on the immoral, self-serving & sometimes illegal high jinks out of both the governmental and the business segments of our world today? Lucifer is the one who lights our way to TRUTH that WE can use to free ourselves. How is this in any way similar to the role of Satan... even for the Bible literalists in the croud? Looks like He got smeared to me!!
