FAVORITE POETI have come across quite a few poets on this site whose work I particularly love, and I think their work is VERY good. I know we can favorite some of their poems, but it would be nice if we could favorite the poets themselves. And I don't know, maybe if a poet gets a certain number of favorites during a certain timeframe, they win a contest or something like that, or are named "SITE'S FAVORITE POET." |

Re: FAVORITE POETYep, I mentioned that before, Poets Choice awards. On themes, and styles, it can go on, maybe our own TV show, lol , reach for the stars |

Re: FAVORITE POETI like the idea of a sites favorite poet. I'm not too sure how a show would go though. lol! Interesting ideas. I also wish there was a way to notify you whenever one of your favorite poets on here posts a new poem you could get alerted to it. As it is I rely on my favorites to send me a message whenever they post a new one. lol! But, hey it seems to work. This site is awesome and always seems to be making improvements. Someone is really doing a great job Bravo! |

Re: FAVORITE POETThat also has potential to connect us more, for it both lest friends now who other friends like to read, which introduces them further to more poets, and fans of certain poets can find other fans, which can connect them to poets of simular tastes ans styles. |

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.
