Gray Eyes

    Gray Eyes

    When her eyes faded,
hell's wrath and fury raged through my life into the unearthly.

Why did her eyes fade to gray?
I may never know the answer, yet saw an empyrean amalgamation occur when her eyes turned gray.

    Now, to survive and heal.
Visualize and know she lives on in peace with no pain.
No longer struggling in the world's complications that exist to today.

There, our liberation of grief occurs.
A continuance of vivacity within such encircling ideals.

Now, prioritize and make time with the ones you love.
Regain control of focus, and balance time between responsibilities and the ones you love.

Accept the comfort offered from the village and community.
Their help leads to progress now, through healing here within.
    Things reaped, are resowed.

Seeing and achieving full closure with absolute resolution.
Bouts with grief and anger may resurface from time to time,
yet reinforce the fact of healing by conquering the doubts of evil.

    Once love is rediscovered,
    never let it go again.
Not forsaking the ground that has been gained,
but to allow her a key to my new heart.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
