Haunt
Haunt
Your face fades
Your voice
Rings true
The pain of
Being able to
Hear you without
The sight of your
Beautiful face, it
Haunts my every
Dream
I shred the light
And mind apart
Desperately, I fall
In line, try
To hide what’s so
Easy to find
In hindsight, you’ve
Realized that you’ve gone
Blind
Cast-away
This long lost
Renegade time to
Understand this
Short response
To illuminate
All the dreams
That come our way
The worse life is
Behind you now
Disregard all
The pain
Acquired through
Your greedy tirade
The creeks turn to
Rivers, which
Waterfall into
Oceans of sorrow
This color
Is too vivid to be
Forgotten
To scarring to fade
And here I stay
There is nothing
Left to say
It is better off
This way
You can finally
Fall away, things
Can be the same
Time will change all
Things
Although you may
Change skins
Your scars will still
Remain
A banishing pain of a vague
Memory
The severity of your
Disdain
Will leave your mark
On a horrid and jaded
Mind
Past lives
Will intertwine
With the future
Our hearts beat
As if they are one
Unified, unable to divide
Hiding all that
Can be found
You will
Drown in these oceans
Of sorrow
Do not fear
For I am here
By your side…
Where I belong
