    Poem Commentary

    I actually wrote this while baking my first ever chocolate Paczki.  It was a snowy February in Michigan, and I had this thought that someone should start packing chocolate into Paczkis.  Traditionally, you'll find custard and fruit as the filling.  I may have shocked the polish world.

    Heavenly Chocolate Paczki

    My sweet Paczki made of chocolate,
    How beautiful your coat

    I must bake thee with gentleness,
    And caress your coat with powdered bliss

    You make my heart pound with happiness,
    With every smell and kiss

    I love you, chocolate Paczki!

    They are great. Although Chocolate is a rare thing, you can find Paczkis at most Polish bakeries.

    This poem is just too infantile to be true.........................lol It sounds almost like the ABC song in THE SOUND OF MUSIC...................lol Papapaczki is able to sparkle and bubble over with childish glee in everything he writes, particularly when he drools with gusto and delight over his favourite "mouth-watering, finger-licking" pastry.

    You had me at Chocolate! lol You could not go wrong from there! Gee, I have driven to Portland for a donuts, but MI? Fun write!

    If you do venture out to MI for a Paczki, make sure you look up the date for "Fat Tuesday" and get here in the morning. Visit any local Polish bakery, and you'll be heaven.

    What is the deal with all your poems? Are you absessed with Paczki's? I don't know how you've gotten so many reply's on your poems? I know people who's been on here for awhile including myself and we're lucky if somone reads ours? I'[ve always wanted to make donuts and try new thngs with baking and chocolates, but it's hard to do with no place to live and no one will give me a chance for a job. I'[m hoping someday....

    Not sure if I'm obsessed, but its my "thing" I guess. How do I get people to comment... not sure. I start out by linking them to people in chat. I've been up my network pretty good, and try to reply to comments with thank yous, and that shows up on their friend activity. Things like that.
