          daytime
    clothes hang, drying
       on the line

         night
    cats walk along
      the fence

       making
     love the two turn
     over when done

      breakfast
    as the sun
      comes up

      reading
    underneath a tree
    giving shade

     prayers
     space time in
      between sins.

    The words do not report anything extraordinary as we meander here and there. But that last line does it for me, surely. It reminds of the adage: all work and no play makes Jack a dumb boy. The word sins puts a different perspective on this brief dissertation. Gosh Caterino......sie un typo molto fino

    Almost haiku but western influence says it is. This takes you through a lifetime in such few words.

    Neat--almost like a collection of connected haiku. Emotion and "meaning" seem so inseparable here that the poem got under my skin before I knew it had reached me.
