Here You Stand

HERE YOU STAND.
A handsome, responsible man.
I cannot put into words how proud I am.
There are not enough words in the world.
It has been my privilege to raise.
My gift from heaven above.
It has been my honor to shower you with love.
I'm happy that you came through me..
You've taught me lessons that have stuck with me.
You are my oldest son.
You have set an excellent example for the younger ones.
HERE YOU STAND.
A great man, in whose life, I'm glad I had a hand.
I LOVE YOU!!!

Thank you so much for your comment.........E

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
