    Hold on

    Sitting by a river of sorrow

    watching my life pass me by

    hoping to take one more glimpse

    of that sun shine one more time

    I will see what was before me

    shake it take hold of it

    life is only one time around

    enjoy the place your at never look back

    your body parts not in a field spread around

    be thankful where you’re at

    for life takes its toll on your soul

    have mind control

    and take your life back

    one chance to show

    who you can be

    don’t let life knock you to your knees
