Hope
Hope is just a 4 letter word
H-O-P-E doesn't mean much to me
Yet I keep holding on as if there were such a thing
I don't know maybe it is
What is hope anyway?
Hope is a feeling shared by many
I often wonder how the blind can share the same hope
as those who see truth
It may get better someday,
Well at least I hope it does
Who's to say it won't get worse,
In that case I hope it doesn't
At this point there is nothing left to do but hope
My hope is our bond and He knows what I mean
