I Found Love

I Found Love

Once I was a selfish fool

Who never understood

I never looked inside myself

Though on the outside, I looked good!

Then we met and you made me

The girl I am today

Darling, I’m in love with you

No matter what I weigh or what you say.

'Cause...

Without love

Life is like the seasons with

No summer, without love

Life is rock song without

A drummer

Honey, I’ll be yours forever

'Cause 1 never wanna be

Without your love

Michael, never set me free please.

No, I’m not even lying

Never set me free, honey,

No, never, no, no!!

Once I was a simple girl

Then you came to me

But I still felt like a nothing

Though a thousand fans may

Disagree

Fame is just another prison

Signing autographs would be a bore

I don't have a clue

'Till you came to me at that  airport.

That sealed my fate of love

Life is no sunshine

I so enjoy making out with

Shall we use room 514 again?

Darling, I’ll be yours forever

'Cause I never wanna be

Without your love

So darling, throw away the key.
Link me to you
‘Cause I'm yours forever.

This exudes with passion with an electric spark. Careful not to electrocute yourself though. lol

A poem of ever lasting love written with down to earth feelings. Nice job.

Hello Hampton. You are so good at reading poems and commenting to help others. Thank you much.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
