    Poem Commentary

    Just wrote this Saturday night, as my daughter was going through hard time in her sleep.  

    I miss my mommy

     Mommy, Mommy, Mommy,
    Her heart cries through the night.
    Oh, I miss my mommy...
    I wish I could restore her sight.
    So hard to explain sometimes,
    that Mommy can't come back.
    Though I've read the Holy Bible
    The scriptures from front to back.
    To be a good provider 
    and give all that I am and have
    Still won't bring mommy back
    on mine and her behalf.
    I tell her I miss mommy too,
    as my heart is also breaking.
    I try and hold back all my tears.
    God help me from my faking.
    And though the sun will soon come up,
    And she'll frolick and she'll play.
    I hope that in due time,
    my daughter will be ok.

    Sad poem with tears I read you word and honestly grieved for you. Your poem is expressive and rich with emotional words of grief. My mother died when I was 17 and that was a lifetime ago. I cannot tell you that your pain will lessen over time but I can tell you writing a poem will he4l you deal with it and help others to understand. I am here for you.. Thanks for the poem. CatsMeow

    Raise her with faith and love. Sometimes she may need a shove. All you can do is the best you can, after all you are only a mortal man. :)
