    In a Moment

    IN A MOMENT

In a moment, it seemed my heart would burst

And for your love, I would forever thirst

    Your sweet embrace

    Enveloping me, so warm

    Tenderly and sweetly, at first

In a moment, I felt I could fly

Forever and free, in the sky

    Your loving hands

    Your passionate whispers

    That makes me sigh

In a moment, when love rushed in

So fast, so quick it made my head spin

My heart felt like it might melt

    My body becomes weak

Shivers down my spine again and again

In a moment, blinded by your love so sweet

There is no one else who can compete

    Your touch is so intense

    Your gaze hypnotic

My body and soul become complete

Ahh love so complete. "Your passionate whispers that makes me sigh". Beautiful verses, beautiful write.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
