In His Hands

In His Hands

Sitting next to you

The big question who?

Question in her eyes

When is it time to die?

Longing to see His face

Waiting for the perfect place

Walking hand in hand

Willing to see the perfect Man

Holding His love so dear

His light is very near

Holding the hand of He

Waiting to be free

Loved ones so near

Holding on to my dear

Letting go of her fear

His light is here

She is as light as air

Letting go of her fear

She is in the perfect place

Standing within His face

I'm certain her spirit smiles now that she's free! She would've loved your wonderful poem being read at her leaving! Heart write! SBear

Interesting poem. Very encouraging. I like the fact that it is also simple.

Thank You!

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
