I come aside by myself to a " getaway ",
the chance to be away from people and noise;
Where I could disengage my mind from the
untrue-unnoble-unjust-unpure-unlovely;
and distance myself from those who tear me
down and weaken my beliefs and spirit.

I rise before dawn and walk amidst nature,
a place of solitude that frees me from
interruptions and distractions; away from car
exhaust, concrete, steel and glass, no dead
animals on roadways and perhaps tragic
vehicle accidents.

At first light of sunrise, I observe the natural
environment as it awakened; birds chirpings
and fluterring, the awesome sight with that
extra chill just before dawn.

In quite stillness, I could reflect, meditate and
talk aloud to God without embarrassment
and distraction.
I'll draw aside for a while that my being
be renewed and get busily involved
according to the framework that I may
easily give out and put in.
