    I've seen you anchor on stormy shores
    I've seen your house upside down
    I've seen your pain come in shit loads
    but don't quit me now
    I've seen you grow in a garden of fury
    I've seen you shoot down your own vows
    I've seen your heart bleed rivers
    but don't quit me now

    those life equations
    had been unresolved
    for so long
    before they have been solved
    then you became involved
    and believed in me

    stay the stubborn mule
    in plain view
    in spite of yesterday
    and it's harbored crude
    be the you I've always knew
    and stand with me
