    In That Place
    In That Place

    Arching back against a solid oak tree

    Taking the cool night air in

     Hearts rejoiced in a pounding beat

    Bodies rocked in a blinding heat

     

     A storm whips two souls into a whirl

    Tumult ensues as blood rushes

    Bliss and fury rise to deliver passion

    Affixed to that place we were, in infinity it seems

     

    It stands alone, that place right now

    Calling to that lascivious encounter

    Evermore it will need it again and again

    Feeling its life and purpose all for that place in time

     

    Fireflies danced and memories were made

    Eternity exploded and collapsed into one

    This is an artist's creation out from a loving state. Marion, this is so alluring that It is hard not to live through the passage. Your words are very captivating. Great write ma'am!

    Memorys of days gone by. Your poem is a nice refletion of are memorys up to now. Short and to the point with a soft side around it.

    I have a lot of nice memories and ones that are like snapshots in my mine. This is a little peek at one. So glad you enjoyed it.

    Another interesting piece! You convey the story so well that the reader feels like a voyeur who's sneaking a peek at an intimate encounter .... leaving the voyeur breathless. As I've commented before on many of your poems .... You certainly have a way with words! : ) ..... Ken

    Thanks Ken, it was written about a memory of an actual encounter of mine and I wanted to seal it in time. I am so pleased you found it interesting. many have shared that they have similar memories and it brought back something special to them. Ty

    Another great poem...from a very talented poet...i love your work...'Fireflies danced and memories were made' reminds me of catching fireflies as a child...i don't see as many of them anymore...
