IN THE MIND OF A POLITICIAN

Look! Look!.... at what I've achieved today!!
I've won the election, now it's time for fun and play,
Now I am governor, and I can have my way,
I'm ending all the pretty talk for slogans that I pay.

Now, I am just relaxing and later I can figure,
How much bribes I can accept to release my trigger,
I've made so many promises, and many I've decieved,
Thinking I'll create many jobs, for votes that I recieved.

Man!! I can stay here for double terms, and stay for a very
long time,
And when I get so tired to lead I'll sell it, thats no crime?
Just keep my promises to family and circle of friends,
all favors I'll deliver,
And fulfill my promise to big companies all contracts I consider.

When you are a politician, man you can never lose,
Even when I've crappy performance, I do whatever I choose,
Even when a solicitor of whoredom, vice and resign in disgrace,
There's always some fat cat to scoop you up and put you in first place

When you are connected you can committ any big crime!
Being a big boy politician without serving any time.
There's always special justice for how much you can pay,
Some are not so favored, there's nothing they can say.

When a big shot like me committ the "grocest" of crimes,
He rarely faces justice and rarely do any time,
Those filthy rotten prisons are made for people lower than me,
This is the mind of a politician, you're getting what you see.

Some are even offered bigger jobs and can have a ball,
For they'll forget my wayward ways and they'll forget my fall,
In this unequal society, ordinary people aint getting a chance,
Even for a lesser crime, you'll never be free to dance.
But big bad boy politician who have no respect for laws,
Can advance because of connections, inspite his many flaws.
