It's A Little Bitty Thing

It's A Little Bitty Thing

We met at a coffee shop not so long ago
We held hands and I looked in your eyes
You said baby I love you You're the only one for me
And my heart knew then that It loved you so

So we met the next day for a picnic in the park
A little walk, a little kiss, and a little stone in a box
Promises of love forever and forever and always lovers
Imprinted in our minds and on our hearts

It's just a little bitty thing but it's a pretty big thing to me
I want to wear our love on my shoulders for all the world to see
I promised to love you forever and baby you can't lose me
It's just a little bitty thing but it's a pretty big thing to me

Now here we are much later our love growing strong
Still holding hands and laughing oh my and oh my
Baby I love you you're the only one for me
In my heart I know it's where we belong

It's just a little bitty thing but it's a pretty big thing to me
I want to wear our love on my shoulders for all the world to see
I promised to love you forever and baby you can't lose me
It's just a little bitty thing but it's a pretty big thing to me

It's just a little bitty thing but it's a pretty big thing to me

Thank You my friend, it's great to hear form you. :) Rita

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
