    well i wrote this for my friend....

    It's Only Me

     

    I look different than I did before

    I look like more of a monster than a person

    Death has taken its tole on me

    I now walk around

    Scars on my arms, tears in my eyes

    I regret everything I did but still needed to do it

    I may look like the walking dead

    But it's only me

    I'm still the same person only with a different mind.

    I never meant to hurt you or make you feel sorry for me

    I just wanted the pain to stop

    But I made it worse

    No matter what I do the memories will always stay

    right by my side until the day I die

    Underneath all of this darkness

    It's only me

    its always hard to convince people that you are the same on the inside when there is an obvious outward change... i know alittle bit about what you are talking about and i can relate... thanks for sharing
