Poem Commentary

I was in a very dark place at the time I wrote this, but I knew that was were I could not stay.

January

January
Bright was the light,
But I knew the day had not come yet.

Enfused with the energy that is left behind
for us that must continue on.

I take the first step in my changed existence.

A balance must be achieved
in the scale of life.

Yet; sometimes
a heavier weight is placed upon you.

a God given choice is then yours,
to choose the heighten level,
or sink into the depths of your loss.

Take both hands place them on the sky and rise

your praise humbles me Trevon, and I am convicted. Your words are so beautiful and they bring His peace down upon me as I read. thank you. Glad we are now freinds.

The transformation of what it used be into a new form or take is always strange at first. To be able to choose through the holy spirit will forever be comforting. This is inspiration at its best! Great Job!

beautiful Thank you so very much. your kindness and encouragement through your comments and poem is greatly appreciated and touching. Thank you so much. I appreciated the lines about how oft times a heavier weight is placed on me and what I took from your poem that it is really in my hands and my choice as to what I do with it.
