Jen

I wake every morning with the love of my life,
and I thank God she is with me again.
We both know sometimes there may be strife,
but we are willing to work through the pain.
She lifts up my spirits when I'm feeling stressed
with a look, with a word, with her foot.
We laugh and we love, no feelings repressed,
and my negative thoughts become moot.
A life with this woman is all that I've dreamed,
and it seems God has seen fit to grant
me her true love and her heart now redeemed,
and new line of words I can chant.
She pulled me from darkness and lifted me up
and continues to make me feel whole.
She shows me a love that could fill any cup
and has repaired my fragmented soul.
With each new days passing I can't help but smile
as I look at her beauty and grace.
And God knows I would willing walk any mile
to make sure a smile's on her face.
She has eyes like the sweetest angel on high,
and a body that is built for pure sin.
And whenever I am with her I just can't deny
there is nothing in life I can't win.
She loves with abandon and unfrettered ease
and she leaves me a breathless mass.
Her mouth is one tool she uses to please
me pure grace, sheer majesty, and class.
My love is the only women I want for all time,
for no other one holds any sway.
And I'd never allow myself to commit the crime
of destroying her trust and love for a stray.
I cherish my woman, she's my precious light,
and God knows that my feelings are true.
And in fifty years when I hold her at night
I will still mean the words, 'I love you.'

"I cherish my woman, she's my precious light, and God knows that my feelings are true. And in fifty years when I hold her at night I will still mean the words, 'I love you"—a perfect ending to a perfect love poem. Peace and Light, dah
