    Keep going

    Walk through the forest,
    bare foot and alone.
    Through the trees,
    and over stone.

    Touch the leaves,
    and feel the bark.
    Watch the sun,
    as it goes dark.

    Going straight,
    not turning back.
    The trees behind you,
    becoming black.

    Just keep on going,
    don't you stop.
    Just get your goal,
    and reach the top.

    Don't turn around,
    because you will see.
    That behind you,
    is misery.

every single time i read your stuff i feel terribly hopeless. lol i can understand getting rooted in a subject matter that you most identify with. i have my own problems diversifying. thanks for letting me read.

I gave this a TEN becuz the trees are like so close behind and this poem gives me the courage to keep going and not look back even when things seem unreachable

Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.
