Keys of the Mind
Lost in the intricate mazes of the mind.
Essence scorched as withered blades of grass;
Cold eyes gazes on injustices blind.
Avarice calls kings to display glass.
Breeze dances on melodious wind-chime.
Caressing humility's light-hearted jocund.
Other winds, ring kindness sublimely crass
Armored barbarians swords come stalkin'.
Purity trampled black as a Corvus.
Temperance tossed on glowing coals.
Wealthy feed off of poor carnivorously.
Prehistoric is idea of charitable goals.
Who will wait for vinifera grape?
Aged by time turns to fine wine.
Patience and understanding drape.
Adorned with jewels of truths twine.
