    Poem Commentary

    This started out in a friend request, that's where Laughing together as friends got it's birth. from this point it's a shout out to all of my friends that I have gain here at Original Poetry.com. I had to go through a lot to learn how to be a friend and the reward was that I would draw friends. this is truely a blessing as I read the poems, I share the feelings of each and every ones life. and I feel a strong family growing together here.

    LAUGHING TOGETHER AS FRIENDS
    Before I start I must confess
    A friend I didn't know how to truely be
    because the trust was took out of me.
    I had a heart that was torn
    A soul that use to mourn.

    Then Jesus took control
    For the Sorrow he gave me
    Comfort
    Hurt--Love
    Confusion--Peace
     The Loniness--Joy
    Sadness--Laughter
    Doubt--Trust

    Taught me how to be a friend
    and to trust again.

    As poets we share our story of the same
    and the new life we gain.

    Now for me nothings the same, for today a blessed
    friend have I gained

    Though face to face we have not yet met
    still our spirits connect
    filled with
    Love, Joy, Peace, Gentleness, Goodness
    Faith and Meekness

    For I know the fruit of the spirit you possess
    when we started this quest
    Today a new relationship has began

    Ladypooh every day you grow as a poet. I love your works and the truth in them. I know we all have to look out for grammar and spelling but that evolves as we grow. I am sometimes lazy and don't check spelling and grammar as I type. I look at the poems emotion first and yours are filled with emotion. keep writing you have found your niche.
