    Letters from a G

I shed tattoo tears for all my fallen peers-

lil homie just listen to me, and you'll make it outta here-

No matter what happens in life, you a soldier, don't show
    no fear-

Remember they take your kindness for weakness if they
    think u scared-

It's a cold world when u in the streets-

So don't ask for nothing, stand on your own two feet-

Cats comin at you like they want the beef-

Grab the hammer, unload the clip until the noise decease-

I love the flow and rhythm and the reaching out to help guide others. There is a way out and does not have to end in violence. Great write.........E

I absolutely love this....the flow was great and the tone just right....some may say this is like spoken word....I think its something different....more like street poetry....or even gangsta poetry...after all we have rap and then we have gangsta rap...both tell a story one just a little more raw than the other...great stuff...Cher

i fee this piece. if more of us reach back then the lil homies will not have to drop da hammer and unload the clip

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

    Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
