    i did this when i was going throug a brake up

    Lifeless Body

     I'm moving around
    Without a soul
    I'm seeing you
    Holding you
    I can't feel your warmth
    Lifeless is my body
    I can't tast you
    empty is my mind
    cold hands
    holding you
    cold lips
    kissing you
    My soul has long
    since left this body
    God has taken no pity
    on this body
    It moves without
    knowing
    It sees without
    seeing
    But this soul can't
    feel the pleasure
    You give to it's body
    for it's  been lost long ago
    This lifeless body
    moving away from life
    Fling to an island
    Far way so
    it can try to be free

    I've written of heartbreak myself and I must say I love how you describe it as a souless body, I would never have thought of that, nicely done:)
