Lord

Lord

In my eyes there was trouble.
In my heart was the grief,
that the heart can bring.

In my prayers were the words,
Lord Father can you help me;
For I know not what to do.

Man has reached his limites,
he can do no more!
And serious troubles still lye at my doorstep.

So swift my Lord,
was your right hand to help me.
So complete were your eyes to see all my woes.
so amazing was your resolve to set me life to right.

Bless You.

TREVON commented on Lord

This was a time of great need like the world is feeling now.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.

T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
