Love from a distance
Souls so far apartspirits so close,
it's breaking my heart,
makes me need another dose.
Voyeur secrets it is, that i hate.
Sneaking, and peaking like you do.
Your so often late,
makes me wonder with who.
You incist you only work,
yet online matches there you are,
guess the internet's a perk,
when your layin tar?
No tenderness in your touch,
no compassion for my tears.
I think you don't miss me much,
after 23 years.
Money you say,
that's the problem you see.
Say what you may,
but kisses and hugs are free.
We grow farther apart,
the verbal blows are too low.
I'd leave if i was smart,
and have nothing to show.
Indecision freezes us in our tracks.
The pattern is worn into a rut.
On our son, we can't turn our backs,
so the doors stay shut.
Our hearts reach out to others,
for friendship and comfort to help.
We'd stay if we had our druthers,
but love can't stay on the shelf.
I don't know what else to write,
it's been a really long fight.
I dont know what to do,
I don't feel the love
and neither do you.
