    I guess I get to bare my 'love unrequited' soul to you all. Here's tonights thoughts about that.

    Love, Leave me alone

    Love,

    Leave me alone, I plead.

                I am consumed by your fire.

    You cause my open heart to bleed

               

    I am already scarred beyond belief

                Don’t you know that by now?

    There will be nor can ever there be relief

                From knowing love’s sorrows

     

    I’ve loved enough for a lifetime

                Of misery that it brings

    I plead now for my senses

                Enough to guide my offspring

     

    Through their trials of love

                And the pain they must endure

    And to know that they must be sure

                There is guidance from above.

    I have played the fool too many times. Loves flow can be like a brook of water, that knows no interruption. Oh, that we could just use it at will and be more noble in our endeavors. A poigniant view of human loves shortcomings. well written!
