Ah amore, with the one I adore
Loving the taste, sound, feel and smell
She says she sees me and is compelled
She is my Queen, rib from my chest, my love beget
She states that I’m her King and her…… Daddy?

Our Love Promise is Put on Hold and I’m Silent
Daddy Who? Is that what you see, staring at me?
I blink my eyes hoping for a return of clarity in her eyes
To my surprise, she still has stars in her eyes
Now I realize that to her I’m a far away picture
More reminiscent of a Father figure……What a regret
Shame is the name of the game to this inequality
Disappointed that she sees me as eternally Paternally
Sure I gave wisdom and received learning inbetween
Sure to head our household, that we both share
Sure I like being called Daddy when I’m good in bed
But in all of these assuredly Father-isms remains sojurn
So hell yeah, there is concern for her undying love for Poppie!
You are not my mother, but my lover and friend
I am not your Father, Daddy, but your lover and man
My hopes and designs is for us to grow old in unison
Not to watching you grow up, waiting for the woman
So please stop with the Electra complex, we are not related
Your Dad said he would give you away matrimonially
That day may not come, unless you can overcome fixation
RIGHT NOW, cuz I’m not waiting, my lover is not my daughter
Although I love her, my daughter that is, as I’m her Father
But what I need from you Miss Cherie Amore, is for you
To Decide to Love Me Like We are Equal or else I must leave
You see I would rather be loved like a brother or even a friend
Than to be in love with a child who still seeking child support
From a Figurative Father!
