I still remember that day-

The day when you suddenly left

And my world fell apart in an instant.

Why did you have to go away?

Why were you so cold, cruel and distant?

Why did you have to leave?

You stole a precious part of me,

You stole my happiness, my everything

In a heart-wrenching blow

And left me with nothing, no identity at all.

You took a piece of me when you left,

You left me numb, struck and deaf.

You left me in shock, grief and defeat.

I guess our love was counterfeit!

What I thought was love I found out, surprised,

That for you was only a physical exercise!

But in fact, you did me a favor

When you left and freed the space-

I found another love with such sweet flavor

That tasted like nothing else!

And what is even more,

I discovered that people have many faces

And you had a mask on

The whole time when we were together.

You left scars in my heart and traces

Of scattered memories and shattered dreams

But as the weather changes

I hope that one day you’ll find out exactly how it feels!!!
