Memories

I'm stuck in a vortex
Full of memories
And even they're old
Their still so clear to me
And they're still dear to me
I cherish every second of them
Because they're really vivid
And also very seldom
They come through heavily
Every once in a while
Forcing me to think differently
In a emotional style
Making me laugh crazily
Cause I know it has to be me
Opening my eyes wider
And wider so I can see
To a higher degree, a level
That they haven't seen in a long time
Hoping to be deleted
From living in my mind
Visions of life
Without this so called gift
Puts a weight on me
That even I can't lift
My heart is beating faster
As every minute passes
It feels as if
I'm getting all the lashes
I can't think of living the rest of my life like this
I refuse to believe
That I'm forever trapped
With these painful memories.........
