Mending
I feel emotionally numb
for how could I be so dumb
to trust such a slut
for now mending the cut
is going to be the hardest thing
I've had to do
for now I have to start everything new
The trust is now broke
and so is my heart
this might just tear us apart
I can't understand why
but for the sake of our children
we will have to get by.
