    Monday

    Soft awakening

    Forgiving pillow

    Soothing bus ride

    Greeted with smiles

    I’m distant in math

    Doodling irrelevant truths

    Looming exams

    The dude abides

    Selective memory grammar

Awaiting our rendezvous with the clock

    We put on our backpacks

    And head home

    Falls asleep on the couch

    Afternoon snooze

    Disoriented second morning

    Halfhearted homework session

The subtle Midas touch of the sun

The trees sway wearily in the wind

And I have a sip of lemonade on the porch

    The birds serenading each other

    Showering, then toweling

    Then brushing and deodorizing

    Then half a book

    Then sleeplessness

    Patterns in the stars

    Noises in the night

    Midnight snack with a view

    Not a half-bad Monday

I don't know which you're better at: connecting with your own generation, or connecting with adults of all ages. Actually, your gift is that you reach both/all with equal ease and equal tease. Sensitive write.

such a way with your words, you really create a style all your own that displays the message you are portraying and tells the reader a story

    Impressive write......................................................................

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
